Laughing for Life relocates to Knoxville

2012 marked our final Laughing for Life event in Wilmington, North Carolina.  After 4 great years it was time to move the event to where I relocated to myself, Knoxville. Tennessee.  The costs of traveling back and forth for the last few years not to mention overall amount of groundwork needed to pull of the event made it a  necessary decision.  We appreciate the years the Lo-Tide Run faithful came out to support it and hope that they continue some type of comedy tradition with a similarly themed event there in the future.

We turn our attentions to Laughing for Life 2013.  On Saturday April 20th, 2013, Relix Variety Theatre along with Knox Comedy Live are proud to present the 5th Annual Laughing for Life. This year the event is changing again incorporating sketch, improv, live music and stand-up into one massive variety show sure to please all types of audiences.

Tickets are NOW on sale for Laughing for Life IV, to take place Saturday May 5th, 2012 at City Stage in Wilmington, North Carolina.  As promised tickets are only $15 for general admission.  This year we also have an ULTRA LOW ticketing fee for getting them in advance.  Get yours NOW! Laughing for Life 2012 Date Announced!!

Laughing for Life 2012 is proud to announce our event will be held once again at the Historic City Stage at Level 5 in Downtown Wilmington, North Carolina on Saturday May 5th, 2012.   The event was moved from it's winter date to allow performers and attendees to enjoy better weather leading up to the event, and for the event to become part of the 2012 Cape Fear Comedy Festival.

Laughing for Life 2012 Date Still Pending

Folks, we are letting you know right now that Laughing for Life will be moved to the Spring if it does indeed happen this year.  We are working with a venue and minimal resources to continue to support the Steve Haydu St. Patrick's Day Lo-Tide Run.  Thanks for your patience and understanding, we should have a more specific announcement before the 1st of the year.

We are starting to plan the 2012 Laughing for Life event.  While we don't have a date we are looking to move th event into the late winter/early spring. 


Currently we are putting our feelers out to find out which stand-up comics would like to donate their time to perform at Laughing for Life 2012.  If you are interested in performing at Laughing for Life, please take a moment to complete the form below.  We will then compile a list of folks that expressed interest and put together a list that we will then post for folks to vote on who they would want to see at Laughing for Life 2012.
